PEOPLE SAID...

"Muscle Souls brings to mind another era when the airwaves were filled with the sounds of Badfinger, Edison Lighthouse and Nilsson. As a fan of melodic music it's great to hear a band putting melody back in the foreground where it belongs"
Ron Sexsmith - singer/songwriter/recording artist

"Toronto's Muscle Souls has a sound that takes the best of music from the early 1960s, throws it into a shaker with a twist of modern influence and pours this tall cool drink out with a style and panache not often seen or heard these days. Cheers to much more from this amazing group!"
Penny Lane - host - Punks in Parkas - Radio Show

"Canciones con impulso, deliciosas melodías, optimismo y vitalidad. Así es la música de Muscle Souls, una imperiosa necesidad de sentirse bien."
Pacopepe Gil - host -
Plástico Elástico - Radio Show

“...If you have soul, you can pull a muscle with this in your music collection - awesome tracks either way you like it - full on big band sound or just acoustically arranged...this band could take on the world!”
Alan May - host - Glory Boy Mod - Radio Show

"Every now and then a band comes along with a sound and style that evokes thoughts of a time when music really played upon your mind, sometimes a band comes along and does that with a modern twist and more, Muscle Souls is one of those bands. This Toronto based band are amazing!"
Wayne Lundqvist Ford - host - Ice Cream Man Power Pop and More
- Radio Show

"Toronto's Muscle Souls definitely live up to both their name and the album title on their new disc, Mark on the World, which is a skillful platter of muscular, soulful power pop and is good enough for them to indeed make their mark on the music world.  Highly recommended!"
David Bash - founder - International Pop Overthrow - Music Festival (IPO)

"...Muscle Souls check in with a wonderful collection of Northern Soul-tinged rockin’ pop, with horns! Make sure to listen to the acoustic versions of the five originals, particularly the title track (which made my top songs list), to get an even better sense of their keen melodic abilities."
Jeffrey Raskin - host - Pop That Goes Crunch

“I have long admired the song craft of John Palubski…with the release of his group Muscle Souls’ debut album Mark On the World, I am sure that new fans of his melodic hook-laden classic pop will be multiplying!”
Tim Bovaconti - guitarist with Burton Cummings and Ron Sexsmith, producer/songwriter
